December 2023 - To those who wish apply for a RSWR grant:
We are in the process of changing our grant and application requirements. We have closed the application process for the next two months. We hope that our new application process will be operational by March 1, 2024. At that time, we will be accepting applications for the October 2024 cycle.
After March 1, 2024 please send an application inquiry to the email address for your country:
We now have a team of experts for each of the countries where we work who handle our applications. We no longer process applications in the USA. So, please write to this other email address.
You don't need to send a filled application form because we will have a new application procedure by that time. Our in-country teams will ask you a few questions to ascertain that your group fits with the RSWR criteria and, if it does, they will send you an explanation of our new application procedure.
We are sorry for this delay, but we are excited about the changes to our grant-making process, which we expect will help us increase the success of the RSWR project partners.

Eppiness Uside is the Chairwoman of the Makomo Friends Youth Group, a group of young adult Friends that received an RSWR grant in Spring 2016. Eppiness used her initial $50 loan to buy chickens so she could sell their eggs. The business did so well, she was able to pay back her first loan quickly, and then she received a second loan of $100 to expand her chicken business. After that was repaid, she received a $200 loan to open a food kiosk! She now runs both of the businesses and they continue to grow, and is proud of her hard work and successes.
