Children’s Economic Fairness Curriculum

Economic unfairness can be a hard topic to explore with children. This curriculum is designed to introduce economic unfairness to children ages 8-12, though can be appropriate for those younger and older as well. Use these as the basis for First Day School programs, or find activities you can do with your children.

Rooted in Quaker faith, the curriculum includes a gathering moment, an engaging activity, book suggestions, space for group reflection, and opportunities for additional exploration. These lessons are the first in an ongoing series that includes themes such as “What are Quakers doing about economic unfairness in the world?” Your feedback is requested and greatly appreciated as Right Sharing continues to develop and refine resources for the community.
