SUMMARY:Power of Enough (Tigard\, Oregon)
DESCRIPTION:RSWR Trustees\, Retha McCutchen\, Colin Saxton\, and Ruthie Tippin happily invite all Friends from the area to gather for worship\, reflection\, and transformation\, as we consider The Power of Enough\, an interactive workshop facilitated by RSWR’s Executive Director Traci Hjelt Sullivan. \nDo you: \n\nStruggle to keep balanced and centered because you take on more than you are called to do?\nfaithfully make space for discernment and Guidance to act in the work you’ve been given?\nhave too many things cluttering your life?\nhave faith that we have an abundance of all we need (time\, energy\, skills) to do the work we are called to?\n\nUsing queries\, we will reflect and listen in small and large groups to how we approach these aspects of our lives. There will be very little lecture. We will experience new perspectives through personalreflection\, discussion\, and play. We’ll seek to experience God’s abundant love in worship and worship-sharing. \nParticipants are asked to bring a journal and writing instrument. We will leave with a deeper sense of self\, connection and how our personal choices ripple forward to everyone. \nPlease RSVP to Retha McCutchen at (503) 810-3710 or rethamccutchen@gmail.com by March 7 if you plan to attend. This event is free and we will provide an opportunity for Friends to give to the work of RSWR.

SUMMARY:Women and Power (Right Sharing Conversation)
DESCRIPTION:During March’s Right Sharing Conversations we will explore how economic and material conditions influence women’s dignity and decision-making power. Join us as we celebrate women’s leadership and reflect on the realities that continue to shape women’s lives. This conversation will be facilitated by Megan Fair of RSWR. \nRight Sharing Conversations occur the third Tuesday of each month and often feature guest facilitators. \nPlease note that this event will not cover the application process for RSWR’s grant program in India\, Kenya\, Sierra Leone\, or Guatemala. This space is intended for the advertised topic\, and we are not able to respond to inquiries about funding during the session. \nFor information about our grant program\, including eligibility and application details\, please visit: https://rswr.org/womens-groups/learn-about-our-model/ \n
