SUMMARY:Power of Enough (virtual workshop series)
DESCRIPTION:Do you: \n\nHave faith that we have all we need (time\, energy\, skills\, things) to do the work we are called to?\nStruggle to keep balanced and centered because you take on more than you are called to do?\nFaithfully make space for God or Spirit to act in the work you’ve been given?\nHave too many things cluttering your life?\n\nHow can I balance my use of time\, energy\, money\, and “things\,” to free myself to contribute to-right order in our world? The Power of Enough workshop invites participants through queries and experiential exercises to approach these aspects of our lives\, as individuals and as a community. We will reflect on the implications of our choices and how they ripple forward to others. Join us online for five weekly sessions starting on Wednesday\, April 1st from 7:30 – 9 pm Eastern (local time here) to explore the fruits of our Power of Enough. Register here. \n\n\nIf this time doesn’t work for you and you’re interested in exploring an alternative time\, email nkleban@rswr.org and we can see if there’s enough interest for an additional workshop time.

SUMMARY:Our Place Among Beings (Right Sharing Conversations in partnership with QEW)
DESCRIPTION:“Every scrap of earth\, every meeting\, every human relation and agency\, can serve as an ark\, for preservation and renewal…” — Tom Small\, Quaker Earthcare Witness \nWhat keeps us from claiming our place among all other beings in the commonwealth of life? What helps us connect\, care\, and act with integrity? And where might we be called to reimagine the communities we cultivate—leaning more fully into our local relationships and ecologies for mutual support in uncertain times? \nThis April\, Right Sharing of World Resources (RSWR) and Quaker Earthcare Witness (QEW) invite you into a reflective\, participatory conversation grounded in these questions. Together\, we will explore how our spiritual lives\, our communities\, and our daily choices intersect with the well-being of the Earth.  \nTom Small reminds us that our role is “infinitely various\, ever-changing\, and always the same.” Whether through tending land\, nurturing community\, advocating for justice\, or living more simply\, each of us is called into this shared work of preservation and renewal. \nJoin us as we listen deeply\, reflect honestly\, and seek the Spirit’s guidance for how we are each led to respond in this moment. This conversation will be facilitated by Pamela Haines.  \nRight Sharing Conversations occur on the third Tuesday of each month on Zoom and often feature guest facilitators. \nRegister to receive email updates and the Zoom link here.

SUMMARY:The Power of We (Right Sharing Conversations)
DESCRIPTION:June’s Right Sharing Conversation features RSWR’s new Director of Community Development Yasmin Khan. Titled the “The Power of We”\, Yasmin will bring stories of how women’s groups we partner with\, particularly in India\, engage in their larger community. We’ll reflect on our own interactions with our larger communities: community activism\, public participation\, volunteering\, civic duty\, etc. With inspiring examples to ground us\, we’ll examine our own lives and steps we can take to heighten our connection with others as we continue to manifest right sharing of world resources in our lives. \nRegister to receive email updates and the Zoom link here.

SUMMARY:Money Cafe Menu (Right Sharing Conversations)
DESCRIPTION:Money appears as a taboo and “unspiritual” topic\, and at the same time money deeply shapes our lives\, our relationships\, and our communities. We explore this in our Money Cafe workshop\, and we’ve created a fun and also deep variation: the Money Cafe Menu. \nJoin Nathan of RSWR as we explore the Money Cafe Menu for our July Right Sharing Conversations session. We’ll pick an “entree” query to respond to and see what “side dishes” will go with it. We’ll reflect as we “sip” on various “Hot & Cold Drinks\,” finding quotes that resonate with us or are challenging in some way. We’ll finish with a “Dessert” to respond to as the feast nears its end. Together we’ll peruse the menu and digest its meanings through small and large group conversations. See you at the cafe! \nRegister to receive email updates and the Zoom link here.
