SUMMARY:Money\, Self\, and Community (a virtual workshop)
DESCRIPTION:Come to our new workshop “Money\, Self\, and Community\,” a deeper exploration of what is explored in the Money Cafe workshop. Money is often taboo – something worldly and uncomfortable to talk about. Yet money profoundly shapes our lives\, our relationships\, and our communities. We’ll explore our personal and ancestral histories with money\, how this shows up in our relationships\, and choices we can make as we let our lives speak. \nWe’ll meet weekly on Thursdays at 7:30 pm ET for 4 90-minute sessions (starting Jan. 22 and ending Feb. 12). This is a pay-as-led workshop; we’ll invite donations of support at the end of the workshop. Register at the link below.

SUMMARY:Our Place Among Beings (Right Sharing Conversations in partnership with QEW)
DESCRIPTION:“Every scrap of earth\, every meeting\, every human relation and agency\, can serve as an ark\, for preservation and renewal…” — Tom Small\, Quaker Earthcare Witness \nWhat keeps us from claiming our place among all other beings in the commonwealth of life? What helps us connect\, care\, and act with integrity? And where might we be called to reimagine the communities we cultivate—leaning more fully into our local relationships and ecologies for mutual support in uncertain times? \nThis April\, Right Sharing of World Resources (RSWR) and Quaker Earthcare Witness (QEW) invite you into a reflective\, participatory conversation grounded in these questions. Together\, we will explore how our spiritual lives\, our communities\, and our daily choices intersect with the well-being of the Earth.  \nTom Small reminds us that our role is “infinitely various\, ever-changing\, and always the same.” Whether through tending land\, nurturing community\, advocating for justice\, or living more simply\, each of us is called into this shared work of preservation and renewal. \nJoin us as we listen deeply\, reflect honestly\, and seek the Spirit’s guidance for how we are each led to respond in this moment. This conversation will be facilitated by Pamela Haines.  \nRight Sharing Conversations occur on the third Tuesday of each month on Zoom and often feature guest facilitators. \nRegister to receive email updates and the Zoom link here.
