Get Involved

Study our biblical and Quaker heritage. Pray for ways to make our individual and corporate economic behavior consistent with our faith. Pray for guidance in understanding how our focus on the material clouds our vision of God's will. We offer some sermons and talks for your consideration and use.
Develop a spiritual practice of gratitude for the abundance of our lives.
Contribute to RSWR. Some friends use the guideline of 1% of after-tax income. Give an interest-free loan. Include RSWR in your will.
Hold a Simple Meal for your meeting or community.
Take steps in your family to use fewer resources and to reuse and recycle more of what is used. Encourage these practices in your community. Form a voluntary simplicity group. Learn and support each other. Have a simplify your life sale.
Work within your monthly meeting to create a Right Sharing Committee.
Hold educational events which focus on the work of Right Sharing. A display and brochure to use at such events, or at your yearly or regional meetings, are available.
When you travel in economically poor countries, volunteer to visit current or potential Right Sharing partners.
